Estate freeze- Restructures the ownership of small business corporation shares which have growth potential. The result is that the existing equity is frozen in value, while future growth is transferred by way of shares to future generations. The tax liability to the estate is limited to the assets' existing equity while deferring the tax liability on any growth portion until it is subsequently transferred to the children.
